ABOUT TEMAN
The Teman liveaboard is a traditional Indonesian phinisi offering year-round dive and adventure cruises in the Indonesian archipelago. At 36 m length, she caters to up to 12 guests in 5 well-equipped cabins. Each cabin has 1 double and 1 single bed, as well as en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled AC, integrated storage units, charging stations, reading lamps and portholes.
The Teman phinisi has been designed to offer as much space as possible for guests to relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings during their journey. The large indoor lounge and dining area is the perfect place for guests to gather to enjoy the delicious home-cooked cuisine on offer. The sun decks offer both open and covered areas with bean bags and loungers, ideal for soaking up the sun in between dives or enjoying the sea breeze.
The team behind the Teman liveaboard have 20 years of experience sailing across Indonesia, and the 9 crew members include a western Cruise Director who is also an experienced dive instructor with many years spent operating liveaboard in Indonesia. He is supported by two local dive masters. From September to May Teman covers East Indonesia, including Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, North Maluku, Triton Bay and Wakatobi. In June she moves to Komodo National Park and settles there for the season until September.
